ABOUT

Born and raised in the heart of Los Angeles…

Mary Claire is a third-generation Angeleno.

She's a SAG-AFTRA / AEA Latine Mestiza American theater, TV, film, voice-over, and performance capture actor.

Mary Claire can be seen on Criminal Minds (CBS), recurring on Days of our Lives (NBC), 9-1-1: Lone Star (FOX), Good Trouble (Freeform), Grown-ish (Freeform), Or Die Trying (Prime), Ad Vitam (Netflix), upcoming Undisclosed Pilot, upcoming Undisclosed Primetime Television Show, upcoming Undisclosed Disney live-action film, and yet another upcoming Pilot starring an Emmy-nominee, as well as Cannes-nominated feature Tragiometry.

She earned her MFA from California Institute of the Arts in Acting with a focus in Speech Pedagogy, and subsequently studied all Knight-Thompson Speechwork curriculum. At CalArts, she’s taught Institute Acting, Speech + Voice for Non-Actors, and currently teaches Dialects in Performance courses to actors from around the world.

Whether on screen, stage, booth or volume, MC’s acting abilities shine particularly bright as a comedienne and portrays dramatic roles with nuanced precision. She is a four-time Kennedy Center American College Theater Festival Best Acting nominee.

She possesses traits comparable to the comedic spitfire of Julia Louis-Dreyfus, Kathy Bates’ dark power in stillness, Jennifer Garner’s playful spirit, the unapologetic pizzazz of Melissa McCarthy, Melanie Lynskey’s vulnerability, Merritt Wever’s cutting kindness, all paired with America Ferrera's strength.

This to say, Mary Claire is one of a kind.
